Qatar - Travel Document Requirements Qatari law requires the following of all individuals who wish to enter or transit through Qatar: a passport valid for six months. A visa is not required, but is needed upon entry into Doha International Airport and at port of entries; an onward / return ticket with confirmed date and itinerary; sufficient funds to maintain yourself during your stay in Qatar, including enough money (in foreign currency) to cover the cost of an additional one way flight out of Qatar if necessary; no more than three consecutive stopovers are allowed on the same ticket, whether they occur within Qatar or outside its territory unless otherwise stated by the airline operating that sector or the relevant government authority(s), such as immigration authorities in countries of transit: the above applies only to passengers holding a valid national passport from their country of origin(not a travel document) issued by the diplomatic mission corresponding to his nationality and registered on the list submitted by each Embassy to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; children under age 18 should be travelling with one of their parents, even if accompanied by legal guardians other than both parents or their own passports have been endorsed by both parents without any restrictions regarding signature or seal. In addition, children below this age must present documentary evidence proving that they are related to both of their parents which include original birth certificates, marriage certificate or court ruling. For unaccompanied minors who require a separate boarding pass ,a written letter signed by either parent stating permission for them to travel independently, together in duplicate with details of their connection, destination and next of kin’s contact details may also be requested. Please ensure that you carry these documents with you on the day of departure because they might be asked to verify them at check-in;
